TV3: Tension at Ridge Hospital as former Medical Director questions dismissal

Former Medical Director of the Ridge Hospital Dr Thomas Anaba is unhappy with his dismissal, which was communicated to him on Monday, May 15, two days before the commissioning of the referral facility.

He was asked to hand over Dr Emmanuel Kwabla Srofenyoh.

Speaking on 3FM’s Sunrise on Tuesday, May 16, Dr Anaba says his dismissal was politically motivated. “I hold the minister [of health] responsible,” he told host Winston Amoah, exonerating the government of blame, nonetheless.

He said his tenure at Ridge Hospital has saved the medical facility millions of Cedis to the extent that “I saved the Hospital more than GH¢60,000 a month on vehicle purchase”. More to follow…
