Today – I will ban rice importation.

today_22_09_2016Progressive People’s Party (PPP) presidential hopeful for the December 7 polls, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom has assured rice growers that, a PPP government will ban importation of rice into the country.

Dr Nduom could not understand why the country should annually spend a colossial sum of $ 1 billion on rice importation when it ha a vast arable lands which are suitable for rice cultivation more than the numerous countries she imports rice from.

Prof. Adei touts Nduom, Nana leadership credentials

former Rector of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Professor Stephen Adei has expressed confidence in the leadership of the flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo respectively.

According to him, any of the two leaders would provide superior leadership for Ghana should president John Dramani Mahama lose the 2016 elections.

Coconut grove hotel shortlisted
…For CSR award
center for Corporate Social Responsibility (SCR), West Africa, has announced the finalists for the 6th edition of the Ghana CSR Excellence Awards, the GHACEA.

The list, according to CSR include coconut Grove Hotel MTN, Kosmos, Unilever, Guinness, Tigo, Vodafone, Airtel, PWC, Samba Foods, Presidential Life, Odebrecht Ghana, Huawei Technologies, Databank, and Fidelity.

They will be competing for more than 20 categories in the highly competitive corporate social responsibility awards which has become the industry benchmark since 2011.
