The findings of the review, according to him, will be published for the tax payer to have an appreciation of what his or her money was expended by the Mahama led administration.
Speaking at the National Policy Summit in Accra yesterday, Osafo Maafo also noted that all debts incurred by the former administration are being probed.
He said” We are working on the numbers, the ministry of finance gives us the bulk numbers. But they do not all emanate from one source, we have some sitting in energy, some sitting in SSNIT and we are examining all as government and we are doing it gradually and slowly because we must be accurate.
Govt unmoved by minority petition – Oppong Nkrumah
He said any investor local or foreign who has been displeased with transaction in Ghana’s security market has to file his report here in Ghana.
The Deputy Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said government is unmoved by the decision of the Minority to create conversation about the local bond.
They are bent on doing a number of things to make it a subject of discussion… they have the right but government is also going ahead with the business of governing, he said.
NPA to launch safety campaign
The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) is to embark on a National Petroleum Safety Campaign to engage all stakeholders in the petroleum downstream industry and the general public on the collective responsibility of safety.
Dubbed People Safety First, the goal of the campaign is to minimize accidents in the petroleum industry in Ghana.
Discussing the spate of gas explosions and the way forward, on Ghana Television flagship programme Talking Point, the Chief Executive of NPA, Alhassan Tampuli said the Authority was meeting the Chief Executives of the petroleum service providers somewhere next week to collate their view on how best we can jointly prevent petroleum related accidents in the country.
