Metro TV – NPP must decide if they will participate in 2016 elections or not

Estranged founding member of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobby says the NPP must get serious with tackling the major challenges confronting the nation by offering alternatives.

They should in the meantime ‘shut up’ on their complaints over the Electoral Commission’s rejection of the party’s demand for a new voter’s register.

He told Asempa FM that the NPP can choose to opt out of the 2016 elections because the request for a new register will never materialize as the EC is serious with its business.

Dr Wereko-Brobby reminded all that the EC is an independent body whose chairperson is not subject to even the appointing authority and anybody can do is to suggest or advise but not insist, challenging also capacity of some claiming to have rejected the EC’s report on the request.

“If people want to tell us what they can do for us Ghanaians, they better start working.”
