Kotoko Express – Dr Kyei breaks silence …He calls for Patience & support.


Without your patience, without a firm foundation and time to work, nothing good can be achieved.

That’s the message from the Executive Chairman, Dr Kwame Kyei to Kotoko Supporters as he and his Management make efforts to rebuild the club.

The Executive Chairman made his appeal in an address to National Circles Council (NCC) executives at a Kumasi meeting last week.

Dr Kyei said, the state of affairs when he was appointed wasn’t the best but his Management couldn’t make that their preoccupation since they wanted to focus more on what could be done to salvage the situation.

Revival work begins – Under Polack

With the arrival of Coach Steven Polack, the air of a new sense of discipline and verve at Adako Jachie, the Porcupine Warriors are making serious efforts to rediscover their winning form.

The team has gone eight matches in the just ended first round of the 2016/17 Premier League without a win.

This week, Coach Polack has been in charge fully directing affairs at the training ground and working to ensure that the team bounces back no matter the difficulty.

Swedru comes alive in FA Cup fixtures

With the first round of the 2016/17 Premier League ended, attention shifts to the MTN FA Cup round of 32 matches his weekend and without doubt, the Central Regional town of Swedru will be the center of attraction when Kotoko engage proud united on Sunday.

Kotoko started the FA Cup campaign from the round of 64 stage, where they beat Division One side, Bekwai Youth Academy 3-1 on penalties after a grueling 90 minutes action that ended 1-1.

Proud United started from the preliminary stage.  They recorded a 2-0 win against Nyakrom Youth and proceeded to beat Fetteh Youngsters 1-0.
