Actress Vicky Zugah believes some churches are not doing their members any favours with pre-marital counseling but rather paving the way for them to end up in hell.
Counseling has become the norm for most couples who intend to get married after having been in a relationship for some time but there have been concerns about whether people practise laid down procedures set by God.
Avoiding pre-marital sex, for example, is a must for Christians as part of marriage preparations. Making her point on The Purple Room on Angel TV, the actress stated that the direction of some churches on counseling is the gateway to hell for their members.
“According to the rules of the church, we are not supposed to be having sex before marriage so people sneak and do it which God dislikes too,” she said. She added: “But to please the church, you will do that and then you are disobeying the Man above, the Overall Boss, just to please the small one down here and I believe most of the churches will make people go to hell”.
