How many fruits and veggies should you eat per day?

According to a study conducted by the University College London, people need to eat 10 servings of fruits and vegetables per day in order to maintain optimal health and ward off premature death.

The World Health Organization advises that eating five servings per day of fruits and vegetables is adequate.

The University College London study shows that vegetables are four times healthier than fruits and that fruit juices offer no significant health benefits.

Additionally, it shows that eating canned and frozen fruits actually has a negative effect on overall health and increases the likelihood of sickness and a shortened life span.
