Graphic Showbiz – Stop asking us to sing about salvation.

Some contemporary Gospel musicians in Ghana have been criticized for not preaching salvation in their songs and Gospel musician Patience Nyarko sees everything wrong with that.

The Wafom Kwan hitmaker told Showbiz in an interview on Monday that Gospel ministry is like a pastoral work where there is an evangelist, a prophet, a teacher, pastor and an apostle doing different works but all geared towards winning souls for Christ.

I find it very wrong when people say all Gospel musicians should preach about salvation.  So after salvation what next, must gospel musicians always continue hammering on one thing when they already know about it?

I don’t use juju

… Fancy Gaddam

It is not often that a Northern-based musician breaks into the Southern sector, woos followers and stays relevant but it seems that is what Fancy Gaddam has done.

His performance at the recently held Zongofest Honours was well received. Prior to that , he rocked the capital city with his Gadam Nation concert which was hosted at the National Theatre last November

His popularity in the nation’s capital keeps soaring and the rumour mongering wheel has started grinding that he could not be achieving this feat on his own but with the help of spiritual powers.

Great MEDASS

…the school that breeds celebs

A 15 minute drive off the Tema Motorwayon the Tema community Nine Hospital road, is a modest blue and white painted school that shows no indication of being an institution that grooms eminent personalities of any sort.

Established to absorb the ever increasing products of elementary schools in the Tema metropolis and its surrounding, Ghana’s entertainment industry now has the Tema Methodist Day Senior High School (Great MEDASS), to thank for the prominent showbiz assets it has produced.

Go the extra mile
