First Lady appreciated women efforts for Ghana education

Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo the Ghana’s First Lady has appreciated the Ghanaian women for their massive input in the development of education in Ghana.

According to the Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo most of the school that have seen immense infrastructural and academic development have mostly been supervised by women who have shown strong determination and the desire to achieve.

Mrs. Akufo Addo who was addressing after watching the massive development at Ridge church school praised the school for taking the step to begin a Senior High School.

The event take place at the school’s 60th anniversary and speech and prize giving day.

The Ridge Church School which is very famous and had high repute was established about 60 years ago and for many years been directed by women.

The advancement can also be seen in schools building. The school which was started with single story has several storeys with multiple floors, and continuously producing the brilliant minds which are proving to be a great asset for the country.

Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo proudly said that this is evidence of the vision of leadership in women.

First lady also told about the fact that the Ridge Church School has contributed enormously to the development of the country by producing intelligent citizens with discipline and value.
